Nope... haven't disappeared!
I can't believe that it's been so long since I wrote in our blog... for shame!
Life has been pretty hectic for us though... Gerald's mom is in the hospital, they amputated her other leg. Thankfully, as I write this, she is doing MUCH better and we are hoping to get her home soon. We appreciate all the prayers and well wishes.
Gerald is busy as ever with work, school and taking care of family matters. He is drowning in homework and it seems like forever since we've had a quiet evening, just relaxing. Seems like I hardly ever see him, although he makes such efforts to spend as much time with us as possible.
Gerald, Isabella and I are all going to New York in a little over a week. We are soooo excited! It'll be so nice to get a little vacation and best of all, we get to spend the week with my parents who are flying in the same day we are:) I can't wait!!! Plus I've never been to New York... I'll be sure to post lots of pictures when we get back.
Isabella has been so busy growing. She is now crawling, not full steam, but pretty close. She is so funny. Ever since she was born, she's hated to be on her tummy... making crawling a little hard. That hasn't stopped her in getting all over the apartment though! She rolls her way around, pushes herself while sitting on her butt and pulls on various pieces of furniture to get where she wants to go. After many many many tries on mamma's part, she is finally realizing that being on her tummy, at least to crawl, isn't so bad. She just cracks us up! She's busy pulling herself up and standing whenever she gets the chance and is just ready to start running around. She now has 2 teeth with 2 more coming in. The first one came earlier this month in her bottom gum on the right side. The one on the left to it came in about 2 weeks later. She was soooo fussy while they were pushing through, but as soon as they broke through the gums, she was back to her angelic self:) Aji (Gerald's grandma) gave us some homeopathy chamomille pills that supposedly help babies teeth and everyone in his family swears by. I'm excited to see if they'll help with the next tooth:)
The pregnancy is going very well. I'm starting to show already!!! I was like that with Isabella too.. started showing quite early. I took out my "old" pregnancy clothes today and somehow you just look even more pregnant when you were them:) It's fun to see. I felt the baby move for the first time last week... bubbly like. It was cool! We'll get to know the sex of the baby when we get back from New York next month. I'm too curious to wait and see;)
Well y'all... I'm going to head off to bed! It's past midnight and I'm about to pass out.
Hope everyone is well! Write more later... ciao for now
ps: updated the pics in the March folder and hearts on front page:)
